Avowed: All Godlike powers and abilities
You're a Godlike in Avowed, so you get cool powers! Let's check out all the awesome abilities you can get.

In Avowed, you play as the Envoy for the Aedyran Emperor. But guess what? You're also a Godlike! This means you can get super cool powers. Some of these powers can really change the game depending on what you choose to do. I'm here to tell you all about the Godlike powers and abilities you can unlock in Avowed.
Heads up! You can't get every single power in just one game. So, if you're wondering how to get different powers, you're in the right spot! I'll help you figure it out.

Godlike Powers in Avowed: What You Need to Know

Godlike powers are in different groups depending on how they work. Some are passive, which means they give you boosts all the time, like making you stronger. Others are active powers, like magic spells, that you can use in battles to win. You can find some passive powers by finding Ancient Memories hidden in the game.
Remember, you can't get ALL the Godlike powers in just one game of Avowed. That's because you have to make choices, and some choices will give you one power but block you from getting another. Below, I've listed the Godlike powers in the order you'll probably find them in the game.
- Divine Thorn (Passive) - You start with this power. When you sneak up behind bad guys, you can make a blade of energy to hurt them a lot!
- Dream Touch (Active) - You get this power by making a deal with a mystery voice in the "Message from Afar" quest. Dream Touch uses 30 Essence to heal you and your friends. It can even bring friends back if they are knocked out!
- Godlike's Will (Passive) - You get this power if you say NO to the mystery voice or other power offers. You won't get powers like Dream Touch, but you get a bonus skill point for your Fighter, Ranger, or Wizard skills!
- Remembrance of Kishamal (Passive) - Find the Ancient Memory in Dawnshore to get this. It makes your health 10% bigger!
- Remembrance of Enhekala (Passive) - Find the Ancient Memory in Emerald Stair to get this. It makes your Essence (power stuff) 10% bigger!
- Remembrance of Nimanna (Passive) - Find the Ancient Memory in Shatterscarp to get this. It makes your stamina (running energy) 10% bigger!
- Remembrance of Maru (Passive) - Find the Ancient Memory in Galawain's Tusk to get this. It makes your attacks 10% stronger!
- Thorn of Sapadal (Active) - Say YES to Sapadal in the "Ancient Soil" quest to get this. Thorn of Sapadal uses 30 Essence to shoot an energy blast that goes through bad guys and stops them from moving!
- Scion of the Immortal Land (Active) - Say YES to Sapadal in "Ancient Soil", then destroy the ruins in "Shadows of the Past". You can't get Severed Branch if you get this one. Scion of the Immortal Land uses 30 Essence to make you stronger and heal faster for 12 seconds!
- Severed Branch (Active) - Say YES to Sapadal in "Ancient Soil", then cut the Adra network in "Shadows of the Past". You can't get Scion of the Immortal Land if you get this one. Severed Branch uses 30 Essence to make you run super fast for 20 seconds!
- Seeds of Vengeance (Active) - Say YES to Sapadal in "Our Dreams Divide Us Still". This power replaces Dream Touch. Seeds of Vengeance uses 30 Essence to heal you and friends, and also bring back up to three dead bodies as Dreamthrall helpers!
- Sapadal's Fury (Active) - Free Sapadal in "The Heart of the Living Lands" to get this. Sapadal's Fury uses 100 Essence to lift bad guys into the air and then smash them down for big damage!
- Woedica's Call (Active) - Destroy Sapadal in "The Heart of the Living Lands" to get this. Woedica's Call uses 100 Essence to call a maegfolc friend to fight for you!
If you want to try out all the Godlike powers, you'll need to play the game more than once. Or, you can save your game a lot and go back to older saves to make different choices. It's also smart to keep a save file from before you finish the game, just in case Avowed gets more stuff added to it later, like DLC!
Someone who reviewed Avowed, Zachary Boddy, said that the game world is full of cool history and magic. He said the Living Lands area is super interesting. You don't have to play other games like Pillars of Eternity to enjoy Avowed, but if you did, you'll see some cool connections!
You can play Avowed right now on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. You can get it on Steam, the Xbox App, and Battle.net. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, you can play the regular game right away! The Premium Edition has extra stuff like music and cool looks for your friends.
